Hey Fam,

Andrew and I went to the beach this last week for fall break. We went to a place called Emerald Isle. It is on one of the corral coastal islands that curve all around upper North Carolina. From the house we could see the ocean on one side and the sound (waterway) on the other. They are really long skinny islands. It was awesome. The water was still warm so we did some swimming and body surfing in some pretty big waves. We got some good sea food and ran around the little coastal towns where the pirate Blackbeard used to hang out. His ship "The Queen Anne's Revenge" is also sunk in one of the bays there.
